Our latest original handmade African shield mirror design using a Cameroon tribal wooden shield and adorned with original Kuba cloth andcowrie shells.Traditionally these shields were used as defensive weapons and also as decorative or ritual objects, which in Cameroon symbolise status and wealth. Hand carved from one piece of wood and decorated by large groups of locals making up the Tikar Tribe makes each shield a unique piece.The shields are no longer used in battle and are used for cultural customs and rites.
